185s won't start
#1
My first bike , been riding it for a few months always ran fine. One day I loaded it
into truck , started it revved it a few times , then drove truck to beach , unloaded it and
won't start. Tried to push start and nothing. Acts like electrical problem. Has small
spark when I pull the cord with screwdriver to wire. I need to know what would be the first things to check. Any help appreciated Thanks

Electrical parts are not going to go bad between the time it was last run and when trying to restart later. It's just something that very rarely happens with any ATVs electrical parts.
It sounds to me as if you simply fouled the plug when you tried restarting it because earlier you had revved it cold and then killed it.

First, electrical parts CAN go bad between trips. Not likely, but possible epecially if you drop the bike off the tailgate. Start with the plug replacement. Don't check spark with a screwdriver. Use another spark plug, attach plug to wire and lay it against the head away from the hole.
Most likely your prob is flooded motor. Drain the float bowl and replace the plug. Sometimes the needle in the carb gets stuck. It's the lower most flathead screw on the carb.
