Default 2004 sportsman 400

Hi every one new two the form, got a few questions I bought my sportsman new and now has 4,500 miles, 441 hours. Now its starting to sputter vary little going up steep hills and such and it idles way to slow when cold and some times to fast when hot. oil been changed every 60 hours. What things do I need to check or have done, any help would be great. Thanks

Default 2004 sportsman 400

I fixed my problem, the valves needed to be adjusted. the exhaust valves where just fine, but the intake valves where way to tight, like under .002''. I set them at .006'' like the book says, now it idles great and no sputtering so far. way whir the intake valves to tight? must been from the factory, O well, runs great now
