If I get a new CDI upgrade for my quad, do I really need the clutch kit or is it alright without it? I've been killing myself trying to find this stuff with out. If I need to spend all that money than I'm just going to say f-it and save my money.

I'm going to be loging off soon so if it has a higher rev limiter you don't have to re-clutch but it would be pointless because it changes the powerband therefore changing the shift point on your driven clutch therefore you lose power when the belt slides down into it. It may shift to soon and anything youve added for RPM will be lost and you won't gain anthing. Only replace if you have to otherwise you'd be better just tuning the clutch you have.

Yeah it's a CDI with a higher rev limiter. So are you saying that I shouldn't get the clutch kit and the CDI?
