I picked up a 250es today for $150 it looks as if it just came out of the show room but it doesn't have any fire. When i tested the pickup coil (Red and black Wire coming otu the the stator) i got a reading of 32 on my OHM meter does anyone know what they normaly run? i know a 200es runs 100-500 should it be able the same for the 250?

 

I really need this information could someone just runout side and Test the red and black wire coming out of there stator On OHM 2k on a multi meter and tell me what it reads?

 

I have a 81 250r that I just bought for 125 myself. No spark and had a spare good coil and cdi unti and still nothing so I figured stator. Tested mine and got in the 900s from the black wire. Tested the blue and got low 30s. Tested the red and 00000. SO thats where I stand. Just thought even 2 numbers might help you. Let me know what you come up with.
