I have an 07 650 H1 and so far i love it. I am a big guy and it is easy to control the size and weight of it. It all depends on how you drive it and how experienced you are. If you drive it correctly it will do everything you need it to do.

The AC 400-on up will handle the hills of WV. The bigger engines will give you a slight advantage of climbing some of them in high range, where speed is the advantage. If they are so steep that the only way to make it to the top is with speed then I think I would pass on that hill (you could wheelie and go over backwards). If it is a regular ATV trail then you won't have any problems with an AC with a smaller engine and certainly no problem for the 650.

Food for thought - bigger isn't necessarily better, only faster. Too much HP is worse than not having enough. I'd rather run out of engine than to get into a mess as a result of having a machine get out of control - the ground is hard and trees hurt.
