Do new machines come with synthetic oil?

I see the manual recommends 0-40wt synthetic oil. If synthetic oil, I thought it was best to break in a new motor with regular oil to seat the rings?

they come from the factory w/ synth. in them.

Several high performance automobiles also have synthetic oil as factory fill. Times have changed.

hell even my huskavana lawn mower comes w/ full synthetic oil in it. my 05' mazda we had you changed the oil every 7500 miles so yep things have changed for sure.
