Factory GPS questions

I want to get the TRX420FE for the liquid cooling and other improvements but if you get the GPS model you get the air cooled motor or automatic trans. Can you get the factory GPS added to Rancher 420FE? THANKS.........

Bentrod the GPS on the Hondas is really accurate. My buddy has it on his Rubicon. We are within a foot of the same ice fishing spot we use every time.
I personally think that for $250 bucks for an add on, you can almost get a more useful and nicer GPS that will mount to your handle bars with a RAM mount.
I opted not to get the factory GPS because my Lowrance H2Oc does a better job at what I need it for. Besides that you can use it where ever you want not just on the 4 wheeler.
IMO save your money, and buy a handheld.
Just my .02 cents

Ditto to Mach.
The Honda GPS, while accurate, is severely lacking in features. It allows you to store waypoints and allows you to navigate to those waypoints via a directional pointer. There is no mapping feature whatsoever nor is there a way to name waypoints. You will need to keep track of what the heck waypoint 1, waypoint 2, waypoint 97, etc. is.
IMO, you will be a lot happier if you buy an aftermarket gps and a handlebar mount.

I can't comment on the the Honda GPS. However, I recently bought a Magellan Crossover and a RAM mount and mounted it on my handlebars. The great thing about the Crossover is I can take on the trails, on my boat (with downloaded maps), and in my SUV on the freeway. It has voice turn by turn directions on roads and has an expandable memory card slot. You can also use it as a storage devicde for pics and videos. It was 400.00 from Cabellas. I used it this weekend to go to Chattanooga, Tenn. and was very pleased with its performance.
