90CC Dinil will not start. New piston,ring, plug ,gas, cleaned carb, have spark, and will not run except a shot of ether or gas????

 

mayb your not getting enough gas when you start....check fuel system

 

would a leaking crank seal not have the proper suction to pull the gas to the motor?

 

well it just might me enough of a loss to cause it 2 fail so u might really want to get on checking that soon

 

btw what kind of carb you got on there?

 

do i need to split the engine in half and pull the crank out to change the seals?

When you cleaned the carb did you also clean the jet? I had the same problem with our preditor 90 and it was the jet plugged up. Another thing are you sure you are getting fuel down to the carb? it may be plugged from dirt in the tank or filter.

 

i am going to tear it appart again tomorrow and clean it real good, but now i have oil comming out of the belt side crank seal. Do i have to split the motor to change that seal or can i leave it together. if i have to split the engine and pull the whole crank i will again have to replace the brand new head and cylinder gaskets but i am going to do whatever it takes to get it done before christmas, i bought it used, not running for my daughter, so it has to be done by then or it will be the end of the world, and thank you for your help and knowledge
