hey my atc is a 185s it looks like a 200x tho but i think it has weak spark because i can see the spark but not fill it and it wont start the carb is brand new so is the cdi and stator the spark is blue sometimes white and instead of a bunch of spark it only has 1 medium sized blue spark sometimes it will start like if i put it in 5th gear and i push it real fast it will start but not stay running one time i got it to stay running and it ran like **** than i shut it off to change the gap in the plug and now it wont start back up but it will fire than die PLEAS HELP YOUR ANSWERS WILL MATTER TO ME THANKS

Check the valve clearance, especially the intake valve. If its too tight, the compression drops like a rock. For the weak spark....have you looked at the stator and pick up coils? On those older motors, the stator would get rusty, and the oxidization on that stator and pick up coil would cause weak spark.

Some call it checking the valve lash, some say valve clearance If you get a clymers or other service manual, itll describe the procedure for checking it.
Heres an article on generic valve checking, it should give you a good idea on what to do.
