Default new guy here and need help

Well everyone at my school has quads and 4 wheelers and always talk about there quads and 4 wheelers from over the weekend most of them go to the dunes I think it will be called or jsut go riding on there 30 acres they have and since I'm new to this can anyone help me out on this I would like to know a good or beginners 4 wheeler or quad and how much one will cost and other information on them

it really depends on your size,skill level and the type of riding you'll be doing. if your truly new to the sport the raptor 250 would be a good first sport quad.

In my opinion a honda 400ex they are easy to learn on and have enough power for when you start riding a little more aggressive and they are bulletproof. My first bike was a 400ex and I am glad I got a bigger one cause I got used to it pretty quick, a small bike you will out ride soon. I should have first asked, how old are you?

17 will be 18 in a month

@sjbr549 what year of the raptor?

@sam111 what year on the honda 400ex?

the 250 raptor is new. 400 ex's have been out for awhile and the aftermarket has alot for them and they are good quads. you can find some nice ex's and z's. as far as the years go get the newest you can find or afford

just be careful when you ride and wear a helment. quads are fun but it can hurt you real quick

i've never rode dunes before. looks like fun though.we mostly hillclimb most of our trials looks like the gncc stuff.i guess it would be like dunes but dodging trees stumps and rocks along the way the fun starts when you come back down the hill

not sure about price. if you want more details about the 400ex ask in the sport and the honda forums they'll help you more than i can
