Default shifting a 4 speed semi-auto

Looking at picking up a 110cc semi-auto quad. Never messed with a semi-auto, just 4 speeds with an actual clutch. When comming to a stop, do you have to put it in nutral, or can you idle in first? If you keep it in first while stopped will the engine stall out? Just curious, these seem kind of weird with out an actual clutch.

it will idle in gear and you still need to let off the gas when you shift.
