Default temp. reverse overide for plowing

Well guys I put a glacier plow on my 05 sportsman and actually got to use it twice so far, but that anoying reverse overide button was a pain in the but , trying to hold that and wrk the winch. So I figured out a way for an easy bypass I unpluged the shift indicater harness at the tranny and jumpered terminal C to terminal A which is the high indicator. Now the machine thinks it is in high gear all the time and it is stays in 4wd, even in reverse and no button to press in reverse. The only down side is the indicator on the speedo always reads H, you have to know what gear your in by memory like the old machines. But its an easy thing to put back come spring.

Make sure you pack the connector with a good dielectric grease to keep it from corroding.

Wow, cool idea. I have a switch on my 500 but just use a zip tie on the 800.
