I have a 02 e-ton 90 problem. I put a new head and gaskets,cleaned the carb took all apart and soked it,0 to 3/4 works fine runs like a ape but 0 to WOT runs for a few seconds then dies.on the level or up a hill it dose the same.if you gun it to WOT it will pull then smoke for a second then die.the compression is 120 ish and the main jet is 85

 

Sounds like its just not getting enough fuel...recheck the main jet and its passage way..Check anything that may restrict fuel flow(lines,filter etc)...Are you still running the stock air filter?...If not it will bog for sure without rejetting it richer..

 

were can I buy new jets

 

I got some from Hetricks..I'm sure most mini racing places carry them or even try an eton dealer....You should be able to clean yours though.

 

did you remove the pilot jet and clean it? that hole is pretty small and plugs easy

 

yes I stuck the little red straw in there that comes on the carb cleaner can.sprayed it real good.I even sprayed carb cleaner on the head and all around to see if the head was leaking

 

found that I had a big crack in the airbox now thats fixed it runs pretty good all except for when it stops on a hill it woun't pull no power

 

check the CVT the one my kids had would stick so no shifting ,so it would bog
