Finally ordered Jetmoto 250 Sport
#1
I finally ordered a Jetmoto 250cc Sport in Black. After looking for months on these forums i decided to go with Jetmoto. For the past 2 months ive been a bookworm trying to find the best Chinese ATV that would fit my needs without spending big bucks on a name brand. Before i felt like going and buying the Roketa cause i have a local Dealer But the warranty was just not worth it and i wanted some kind of peace of mind. Know i did order from Raceway ATV cause ive heard excellent recommendations from them and customer service is probably the best you get and so far so good. Well from what i hear the assembly instructions arent to good but was wondering if anyone has made some of there own to help someone like me?
Well i also would like if anyone has any suggestions on what to look for or overlook when building the ATV?
Should i change any parts like spark plug, filter, oil, or should i wait till i break it in then change this things?
Well if anyone has some advise for me on what to do after i build it i would appreciate it a lot. Thanks

assembly is easy, get some blue loc tite and use it any place you can on the frame screw that hold plastic ect, deffinatly change the oil before you run it 10w40 no synthetic just reg oil, you will want to change to a ngk plug not sure which one for a jetmoto someone here will know....after you run it a while you will think of plenty of things you will want to do.

SO no synthetic oil would be recommended? How hard is it to change the spark plug? Is a filter a recommended part to change. I think i want to definetly will change the oil before hand and the spark plug and filter after the first run probably. Do you have a Jetmoto?

Never heard of any engine that liked cheap Dinosaurs oil before full synthetic? If its a wet clutch thing Amsoil Synthetic is designed for them.

Best to run it in with regular oil first for at least 1 tank of fuel....
The Amsoil synthetic lubricants won't allow the rings to wear/seat as quickly as a conventional oil will and you could end up with less compression overall. use a regular oil to break the engine in and switch to a full synthetic after a tank or two of fuel.
The bikes we sell get Amsoil after the first tank has been run through it. That being said many of the cheaper synthetics out there are just highly refined dino oils and can be used to break in an engine. if using a true synthetic that contains no mineral oil like Amsoil or Redine then wait for at least 1 full tank of fuel
