Default Info on KFX 450

Ok, I finally got my decision narrowed down on my next sport atv. I'm going to go with the KFX since it can go all around for my type of riding. Now, can someone give me some details?

I was wondering if there are any known problems so far, and if so, what are they? I am probably going to be left without an atv here soon so I'll have to get one soon.

Also, I would like to hear from multiple people in different areas, what they are going for out the door?

I'd like to hear some experiences of riding this machine too if possible

Thanks very much

-Matt

My buddy has one, and I have ridden it quite a bit. Good all-around machine, but not the magic carpet that the magazines seem to think it is. It is revy, but lugs better than the others, so of all the 450's it will probably make the best trail quad. Gas tank is way to small. It runs out of fuel real quick!!!

also heard about hardly padded seat and bad vibration due to the frame but could be fixed with ruber mounted bars

I only had a short ride on one but I will say the vibration was a bit surprising and annoying. And the seat was very hard and narrow, and the pegs were in a sort of awkward position, they seem a bit too high and forward for my taste.

The power was real good all the way through the band, and the handling was decent enough, not on par with the 450R but decent enough to work with. Personally I'd rank it behind the YFZ. 450R and Quadracer 450...... but it does have reverse and as you know more trail friendly low end which add points.....

At this point the quads are all so good it is all a matter of personal preference.... I don't think you can go wrong anymore no matter what you pick.....
