When is the best time of year to buy an atv? Do they have better deals or promos in different seasons like automobiles?

well i would think it would almost depend if the dealer carried snowmoblies. if they did i doubt they would need to sell the atv's as bad and doubt the prices would come down at all. if a dealer didn't you probably could talk them down some in the late fall winter time when there sales are down.

The best time to buy is when the dealer gets in his new model year quads, but still has some of last years left.

In my opinion, the most favorable economic time to buy an ATV is: after the factory qualified floorplanning scheme expires at your dealership.

Typically, ATV manufacturers provide interest-free loans to qualifiying dealers who purchase sufficient inventory, up to a certain point in time (usually in the spring, I think). Thereafter, the dealer must begin paying interest on the value of his inventory. When the cost of "servicing the inventory" begins to loom as "easy monthly payments" to the DEALER, and is no longer carried by the MANUFACTURER, the dealer wants to move that merchandise off the showroom floor; he's ready to DEAL!

A secure dealer will discuss this situation with you; maybe even fill you in on when his floorplanning expenses begin. Anyway, if you bring up the subject, the dealer will respect your sophistication; probably not one customer in over a thousand has the remotest concept of this financing structure.

Now is a good time to buy in the North West. Especially if its a left over 2000. Our local Polaris, Suzuki, Kawasaki shop is running some killer deals!

It almost made me want to buy a Polaris (LOL)
