300 ex vs warrior
#1
I currently have a 90' warrior but i recently talked to cousin in law that wants to sell his 04 300ex. Would i be better off buying the 300 and selling my warrior or should i keep my warrior. whats the big differences between the two quads?

300ex's are slower than Warriors from my experience, but ride it & see if it's better suited for you. I had a 98 Warrior (stock) & weighed about 200lbs. Raced against a 300ex with piped & jetted maybe more stuff. The rider was about 150lbs if that & we were dead even until I hit six gear... Then I left him in the dust.

I have owned both. The 300EX is the best tight trail quad ever! It is small enough that it fits between the trees very easily, yet not so small that the average adult is cramped on it. It isn't a powerhouse, but there is hop-up potential in that engine. Wish I still had mine!
The Warrior was the worst quad I ever owned! Although it isn't all that heavy on paper, it just handled like it was big and heavy. I don't like the ergonomics, and the rear suspension design on that thing has never been right. Some machines make you a better rider, and others hold you back. The Warrior always held me back!
