Hi,

I have purchased 2008 Arctic Cat 700 EFI TRV Plus LE in Canada on October 23,2007.

I would like to have some feed-back fron users about oil comsumption.

After 190 km or 10 hours using (160 miles) I has yesterday 1 liter of Engine Oil ...!

Before starting discussion with the dealer I hope somebody giving me their own experience.

Purchased mine on October 20, 2007 and have rode about 100 miles and have checked oil level after every ride and have not seen any usage. Planning on changing the oil and filter soon since I am around the 100 mile mark.

 

bring it in. dont waste any time . you could have some bad rings or something arong with your motor. you shouldnt be burnign any oil. so dont wate time the last thing you need is the dealer to start screwing with you because you waited.

 

Just take it in, ASAP.

Did you check the oil when you got it home. Could it be that the dealer did not have it full of oil when you picked up your ride?

 

Its a warranty deal, should have been fully rideable off the lot with zero trouble. Sounds like bad rings.

 

other then the oil problem have you been happy with your ride. i'm considering getting one.

 

As of yesterday I have a little over 400 miles on my TRV and no problems. Changed the oil at the 10 hour about 100 miles period and checked again yesterday and oil was clean as just put in.
