Default 2005 Honda Rancher Cleaning

I have a 2005 honda rancher and the engine on the outside is completley discolored, does anybody have any way or any tricks to clean off the engine, it happend by riding threw muddy water and mud and things like that, any suggestions?

If it is just the cylinder that you want to clean Mag Wheel cleaner works. I wouldn't want to try it on painted or polished areas though. Spray it on, use a wire brush to scrub a little and rinse IMMEDIATELY!!! The mag cleaner actually eats away a tiny amount of the metal exposing fresh metal from below so you do not want to leave it on any longer than you have to. It will make polished aluminum turn milky white so be careful to cover anything that you don't want to clean with it.

Ya I would try This stuff called Honda clean Its about $10.00 a bottle. But it works really good!!!!

if it is stained then some strong acid based cleaner or a pad of scotch brite will do the trick

i would prolly use scotch bright but it would take a long time
