Where is air adjustment??
#1
My 2004 trx250tm recon has been sitting for about 6 months and now it spits and pops. It acts like it needs a air adjustment but I don't see any adjustments on this carb. Is there something I just don't see??. ..... DumDum

Nobody to blame but yourself here! Gas will gum up a carburator big time when it sits around and dries up.
You have a classical case of a clogged slow jet (also called idle or pilot jet sometimes). For the short term, you can adjust the air/fuel screw on the side of your carb (it will only help a little), but you need to clean the carb and pay particular attention to the slow jet.

I think on that carb, the mixture screw is on the underside of the carb, forward of the float bowl. Its been awhile, but I think thats where it at. And itl be a mixture screw, so it acts the opposite of an air screw....in this case, out is richer.
