I've been looking at the Can-Am Renegade 500 and I can't see why it's so much more expensive than the Outlander 500 HO. They both weigh about the same, have 4 wheel drive, and have the Rotax engine. Why the price difference? Which is better for trail riding (mostly hardpack, some mud) for a pretty decent rider? Is the 'Gade worth the extra $$?

The Outlander is a 2007 and is discounted and the Renny is a 2008 and not discounted!

 

Nah - they're both 2008's. I think Can Am is doing away with the 400 reg carb, not the 500 HO efi. I could be wrong tho - I'll have to check
