Default yamaha warrior info, opinions needed

Ive been looking for a new quad for some time now, and havent been able to find 400ex for a decent price. This has brought me to the decision to get sumthing else and i have thought about a warrior and would like to know what you know about them. pro's and con's plz.

Worst quad I ever owned! It isn't that heavy on paper, but it handles like a much heavier, kind of clunkey machine. The ergonomics aren't very good, and the rear suspension linkage has never been right on that machine. Hold out for something else......

Big yamaha fan but, the warrior is their biggest mistake. Heavy in the front, slow, tippy, under powered, gets stuck easy. Stay Away.

I wish i would have got to ur guys replies sooner< because im now the owner of a 2001 warrior, as a x-mas present. i kno u guys dont lke it but it has to be better than my 250ex..thanx for ur input tho, it was much appreciated..

you did OK.you can have alot of fun on a warrior.My buddies had them and their good reliable machines. I agree with these other guys about the handling but If your just knocking around in the woods you'll enjoy it.Dont worry about the ergonomics just ride the hell out of it.
