I took my 2001 kodiak to the dealer today for it's first service at 320 kms and found out that the mount on the top of the head was cracked in half with the top half gone ..Has this happened to anyone else out there ???? I had trouble shifting the quad into neutral; dealer said the whole engine had shifted ... any ideas on warranty ????

 

Well...it seems that the dealer would know a bit more about a warranty claim for something like that.
How did it happen? It seems that vibration should not cause that. There could be much more damage than just the one mount. If the engine shifted a bit..some of the other mounts could be bent too.
