Hey everyone. I'm looking at buying a old Yamaha Banshee just for a project. Just wondering what to expect? Whats the top speed? What problems do they have?

 

The best source of info for you is BansheeHQ. Study this site for a few weeks and you will be very knowledgable about Banshee performance and issues.

 

cme on over to hq... are you wanting a play bike or you wanting to build a drag bike ? banshee's are money pits ,do to all the aftermarket parts. i'll do a rebuild and ride for awhile and then relize i want to go faster so another rebuild. just rebuilt mine last summer with drag ported cylns,drag pipes ,carbs and so on. well i trying to get the cash to get some cub cylns and i already bought a 4mill cranks to go in. i love my shee !!!!!

 

Just a fun bike. I'll prolly mess round with soem performance mods just fora learning expierience
