just wondering if you guys have any recommendations on batteries. the one on our 400 wont hold a charge anymore and just looking to replace it. ill prolly just get one from sears hardware or something if you guys dont have anything that stands out that someone has tried.

 

odyssey you can find them on ebay i dont have one im in the market for a new one too. but i hear great things about this battery especially from guys that plow as well

 

I just bough the cheapest Battery there was a Walmart $32 and it has been great for the last year.

 

yeah i have heard of people buying a walmart special and it works out great. its a tough decision you can spend $80 on an oddyssey and get a great battery that will last years or you could spend $30 at wallyworld and get the same. whichever way you go if you plow or have extra lighting or plan on any of that. go with something a little stronger to compensate for the extra load. the 400 only has a 14 amp charging system so any high load stuff like the winch will draw off the battery wearing on it quicker. so if you go with something a bit stronger youll be alright. but if your not adding any extras then stick with the stock specs

 

its got the winch on it now, but ive been thinking about running some auxiliary lights to. ill check out the odyssey, thanks for the help guys!
