26" mudlites

Default 26" mudlites

hi everyone! i was just wondering, im going to buy some mudlites, i had the 25"mudlite at's and now im upgrading to the 26" mudlite XL's on a '07 arctic cat 500i. will the atv handle 26's ok?good idea or bad idea?

I have 26 Executioners on my 400, which are heavier than these tires. It handles them fine.

If you look at the weights on this site, you're upgrade is not much heavier.

most are running 27" or 28" on the 500 AC

27" ITP 589's on our 500. handles really well.

thatks for the input. would guys be running clutch kits or any other mods on the 500 to compensate for the big tires or will it not lose that much power

I personally am not running a clutch kit, I have thought about it, but do not know what I would gain compaired to what I might lose on the top end for trail riding. In low it goes up and through everything I do so far.

did anyone lose any power? or use a clutch kit. i got my 26's on today the look AWESOME! i will load pics up shortly
