Default 25'' or 26'' Mudlites for Rincon?

Okay here's my problem, I just noticed that the 26'' mudlites are 10'' wide up front. I don't know because I've never drove one with a big foot kit but wouldn't that just kill the steering of the quad. I would really like to get the mudlites but I don't want to loose much of the sportyness of the Rincon. I noticed that the 589's are only 9'' up front so am considering those now.

So my question is should I just get a set of 25's or will I not loose much with the 26's? I'm also considering the 589's but the majority of my riding is trail riding, but I do like the mud every once in a while. Is there that big of a performance difference between the 25's and 26's? Tnx for any help.

589's are a more MUD orriented tire then the mudlites. Yes a wider tire will make the quad steer harder but i dont think you will notice all that much difference because you have to remember that you are only adding a half inch to each side and the same with tire hight. 589's are also heavier and will ride rougher on hard pack do to the large lugs. Personaly i like to run wider tires up front because in the winter you front end isn't as prone to fall through the crust. I have no personal preference to either tire. I like them both, they both look badazz and perform well too.

I would go 25", unless you do not plan on doing to much trail riding .

I just tried some 25 " mudlites in the stock size and did some comparing to my father's RIncon with the stockers on, Boy oh Boy did I ever get a a@# kicking! Climbing Sand hills -- Raced and the stockers won !
--Mudlites could not make it in 2 wd and the stockers flew up.

Drag race , let me just say ouch and I am looking for a set of the stockers !

I guess what I am saying is if you play around alot you will be loosing a lot and many different area's !

Are selling the stock tires for a cheap price ?

Good luck !

goattrotter, I checked out your picks and I'm gonna have to try the snorkel looks like a sweet set-up, btw what kind of hose did you use? Will an old vacum hose work? One other thing do you have any pics of the Rincon with the 25" Mudlites? Tnx for the reply.

Maybe you want to look into the Holeshot ATR tires. That is what I am planning on putting on my Vinson for all-around trail riding. I don't like deep mud so I don't need the big lugs.

Luecker, do you know if any sites that sell the holeshot ATR's on ITP C seires wheels, I found a site that had the 26'' mudlites on c-seires for $590.00 free shipping and all the lugs and center caps included. I still can't make my mind up, wish I knew someone that had the Mudlites. I would go ahead and get them if I knew they wouldn't screw up the ride too much. Got it narrowed down to the holeshot's or the mudlites in either 25'' or 26''. I do a little bit of mud ridding and afraid if I get the holeshot's that I'll be the one always getting winched out. Tnx for the reply.

I got the Holeshot ATR's and they are comparable to the stockers I like them alot.I just recently bought a set of 27 ITP 589 M/S tires off a guy that hardly used them.I am going to put the ATRs on C-series wheels and the 589's on the stock wheels. But if you are wanting a all around tire without changing wheels I would definitly get the Holeshot ATR's they work well in all conditions even pretty thick mud.

Ya a old 2 inch vacum hose is just fine !

I did not have my camera with me when I tried them on the RIncon! I do have pics of when I had the Atr's on the RIncon .

The Ride with the Atr's and mudlites and still very nice ,not as nice as the stockers but very good.
