driving in water

Default driving in water

When i drive my atv in snow or water, and it gets on the exhaust pipe and it steams, is that bad for the pipe. i'v heard that it could crack

Water and snow won't hurt your pipe. Look at all those that go deep

i rode my 3 hrs straight and took a dip and the stock muffler didnt crack. it steamed, and stunk but it never crack. it was however rusted.

Hey Vinman, I wouldn't worry about your exhaust pipe. We've been through many deep waterholes and haven't had a problem. They steam up and maybe shrink a little bit when you cool them rapidly but I haven't ever seen one crack.

becareful in snow, rusts faster.
