Default Posi track or limited slip

I just bough t an 08 AC Prowler. I noticed it really tear up the grass when you tirn, even at slow speeds. Both left and right tires leave marks. Is the axil posi trac? I just figure it would have some kinda limited slip like trucks have. Its not really a problem but i sure would hate it if it was a stuck rear end

Just about every ATV has a solid rear end - doesn't matter if they are SRA or IRS. The width of ATV's is so small and the traction is better with a locked rear that it just makes sense. Doesn't hurt with powerslides either There are a couple of ATV's on the market that can unlock the rear for use on turf - I think Polaris has one and pretty sure that the old Kawi 220/250 has an open rear end.

But that's about it. It means that most ATV's have two drive wheels when in 2wd, three drive wheels when in 4wd and four drive wheels when some form of dif lock is activated.
