Default Yamoto 200cc

I was wondering if anyone can help me. I just bought a used yamoto 200cc ATV and know nothing about them or engines for that matter.

1st question: Do these require a gas/oil mixture or just straight gas?

2nd question: If there is fuel leaking from the carburetor hose, how do I fix this?
Especially knowing that I know nothing about this stuff.

Please help!!!

Welcome to the forum Joey32!

Straight gas, no oil.

You either have something blocking the needle in your float bowl or you have a float that needs adjusting. You need to remove the float bowl to fix the problem. You need to take the carb off and take it apart. Its not that complicated but is intimidating the first time. After you remove the carb you need to take off the fuel bowl, remove both of the little brass jets. Pull the float pin and remove the float and needle. Blow all the little holes out with compressed air. put it back together and look at the float from the side. It should look level, if its not carefully bend the brass tab on the float until it is level.

Your welcome. On the 200 you should be able to get to the carb ok. Some times you need to remove the manifold and the carb to get enough clearance.
