I GET BACK TO MY HOUSE AND I CLEAN OUT THE EXUAST AND A BUNCH OF GAS OIL DRAIND OUT OF IT THIS IS THE 2ND TIME THIS HAPPEND?? I PUT IT IN 1ST GEAR DONT START 2ND GEAR DONT START 3RD GEAR FIRES RIGHT UP. SEEING AS I AM HAVING TROUBLE WITH MY SHIFTER I CANT SHIFT BACK DOWN TO 1ST OR SECOND FAST ENOUGH. BUT EVERY TIME I TRY IT IN 4TH OR HIGHER IT STARTS BUT FIRST OR SECOND IT DONT WHY???????????????

Have you tried the Yamaha board yet??

 

If it is smoking more than normal, it is the rings leaking fuel mix past and into the cylinder. I think the different ratio in the higher gears makes it easier to start with this stuff in the cylinder, like when you push start a car. it works better in third rather than first. just a guess.
