I'll take any info you want to share. I'd also like to know what the outcome was or what outcome you expect from the changes. If you've done something I'd like your input on how it turned out and if you'd recomend it for others. Any photos of your mods would be good to see too.

Any of the smaller quads. Say up to 125cc or so.

On my Jetmoto 125 I have the aftermarket exhaust, the mikuni carb with the foam air filter. Got better power and it now sounds like a quad not a lawn mower. Not loud at all but much stronger sounding.

Well on my 110cc quad I had issues with the engine rattling out of the motor mounts. I tried different grade 8 bolts, made a new bushing, built up the ears on the the lower mount with the mig....but still that darn thing would get loose.

I have a 90 atv and it is bolted to the frame on the bottm of the engine. So thats what I did I took a 4" wide by 1/4" thick piece of flat iron, drilled 4 holes in it so it would bolt right up to the bottom of the engine then welded it to the frame across the bottom. Problem solved its been good ever since. I have since noticed on the newer 110's they have gone to this mounting system where its bolted to the bottom of the engine.

On the Jet 150 I noticed the bushings in the front upper shock mounts were not quite wide enough. So if you tightened up the bolt you would bend the ears and if it you left it loose in time I imagine it would get slopped out more. So I just added a washer (see my pics) to take up the clearance.

Ok i know this is for 125cc and smaller quads but i was wondering i have a 250cc Jetmoto and would like to do some mods to it to make it quieter and a little more power? Which type of aftermarket exhaust would fit on a Jet. also what advantages would i have on adding a different carb and what size and brand would fit for my bike?

Thats good info to know about the motor mounts. I know mine is bolted to the frame, but I'm sure I haven't found all the bolts to tighten them up myself yet. I've noticed the gas tank on our 110 has a rattle to it. I need to get under there and figure out how to tighten that up. Looks like it is a machine screw that is used to fasten it to the frame front and back of the tank. Maybe some locktite will do the trick?

Has anybody put wheel spacers on these atvs? How hard was it to figure out the right parts to get, and did you get the stability and turning radius you wanted? Doesn't look expensive, but I read something where you might have to notch an inch out of the fron fenders to allow for the new placement of the front tires while turning. Any experience in that?
