Hey everyone. I recently took my 1984 honda 200s 3 wheeler and welded a yamaha 250 four wheeler front end on it. That is the best thing you could ever to a 3 wheeler even though i love the handling of the 3 wheeler but the four wheelers even better...I was just wondering how much horse power the honda 200s engine was putting out? Also if anyone know the torqe rating or the rpm range that would be greatly apprecated.

Sorry I can't answer your question, but I was wondering do you have any pictures? I have an 84 200s too, and I was thinking about doing the same thing.

That's a good idea. It's just like the kits you see in Dirt Wheels, but I imagine MUCH cheaper. Good job, and good luck with your newly fabricated machine. Pretty original idea.

wcy2k400ex, I read your reply on the 3 to 4 wheel conversion kits in dirt wheel mag. I may want to look into this conversion so I went out and bought a mag but didn't see the ad in there. Do you happen to know of the manufacturer or dealer of this kit? Thanks

Sorry about that. These ads were in the older issues. Like back in 1998 or 1997. I do know the company though. It's "Hi Performance ATV". I don't know if their number is still the same, but the listed one is: (619) 448-8802. I can also give you the address if you'd like. Anyway, the kit cost about $1,200. It's pricey, but if you really want to keep your ATC, and just add another wheel, it might be alright. Or, you could do like the one guy did and put a ATV front end on your ATC.

They don't sell the conversion kits anymore. I tried about a year ago when I wanted to convert a 250R three wheeler. The guy wouldn't give me a reason why they stopped selling them.

I knew that I haven't seen the ads in Dirt Wheels in quite a while. There probably wasn't much interest in these kits. At least not enough for them to keep selling them. Sorry about that. I didn't know for sure.
