hauck clutch work and EPI clutch kit
#1
I was thinking about getting a EPI clutch kit installed on my wolvy 450, but I don't want to loose any top end. If I were to have the hauck clutch work done to it, woluld I still gain top end and have the best of both worlds? More low end and top speed

I believe you can run both, but I dont know how much you would gain by doing it. Best bet would be to call hauck and see what they think, they may change a few things up on the machine work if they know you are/plan on running the EPI also.
When I had the hauck work done, it was the same time that I put a pipe, jets, and filter on...so I dont know how much acceleration to attribute to the hauck vs the pipe/jets/filter. I have seen a few reviews of the HMF pipe (which Im running) and most people claim a loss in low end power, but a gain in the top end. All that I can say about mine is that it is 2x as fast out of the hole. From a stop, I pull hard on my buddies stock 06 wolverine, and beat his Grizzly 700 up until about 30mph. Was it the hauck work, or the pipe, etc....I'm not sure. But I am happy with the final product.
