Transmission oil.

What weight and type of transmission oil does Honda recommend for a 85 ATC 250R? My Clymer manual recommends 10W-40 engine oil?

Transmission oil.

Odd as it may sound (engine oil) that is what I have been doing for years and is correct. Even the ol'e 200X takes 10w/40...

Cool! I've been buying some over priced transmission oil from a local dealer, I'll switch over to 10-W40, Thanks!

Transmission oil.

I use Golden Spectro SAE 80-W
For the 2 stroke oil I use Golde Spectro Synthetis 32:1
This is the best.
