I am looking at getting nerf bars for my 08 outlaw. I was looking at the polaris ones, but also like the look of proarmor and some other brands. Also I was looking into getting hand guards.

Any suggestions or reviews of products? Anything else I should look into getting for my new quad? As far as mods(exhaust, jet,ect.) I am waiting till I realy get a good feel for riding it this summer.

One more question is the stock suspension realy good? I havn't had a chance to get it off the ground because of all the weather(snow and ice).

Jetting go with JD Jet kit. Pipes I have heard good things on CT racing and FMF mega bomb and pipes. As far as nerfs I like Pro Armor alot. AC Blackline are also nice, and of course Rath if you got $$$$. Nothing wrong with the Polaris Nerfs either for the price.

 

Where is a good place to get them from? Everyplace I check online does not list the 08 525 irs, they only list pred 500 under polaris. Maybe I will have to place some calls to get updated info.

purepolaris.com has the nerfs. I think listed 06-08 outlaw nerf bars. like 149.99 I think. Just explore for hand guards. Pro Armor has some very reasonable.

CALDS650, How does the 525 with IRS handle in the sand? I was told by many other dealers(I was looking into an 08 raptor) not to go with the outlaw if I planned on ridding in the sand. I will check into the rath nerf bars. I also like the new pro armor.
