back wheels locked up

my 250ex`s rear wheels locked up and i figured out it was coming from the final drive not the driveshaft or engine can anyone give me some tips of what it could possibly be

back wheels locked up

final drive is a gear in the tranny in the motor, you said it wasn't in the motor, want to try again?

woops i was midlead then but ok its the last drive before the wheels if that sums it up
