Sorry about that Ralph 2000. That is the complete duncan double barrel system. it just looks like the stock headpipe because i cut off the stock heat shield and welded it with 316 S.S. to the duncan headpipe. That reminds me i forgot to list my denton steering stabilizer. silly me.

Robby440EX,

That is a really nice EX you have there. I am in the process of doing similar mods to mine. Also, you can see my modification list at the bottom of my post. I was wondering if there is anything else you guys suggest for MX.

it sounds to me like your on the right track there wcy2k400ex. If your serious about MX u can gain a few ponies with a high compresson piston and a cam then after you gain that extra power u can gear it for low & midrage and some 18" tires if u don't already have them. with mods u already have you'll swear your on a different mashine all over again...Oh yeah.......don't forget the rev limiter....

Pull your airbox lid off and put in a 172 main jet. You will notice the difference.

What gearing would you suggest with these mods? Any idea of the cost? Thanks.

I run 14 counter and 36 in the back. I'm pretty sure you wouldn't have any problems with those gears. It's when you go up to a 16 tooth counter sprocket with a stock bore that u may experience some bogging. I paid like $200 for all my sproket but i have a 14,15,16 ot choose from and 36,37, and a 38. expect to pay anywhere from $20 to $60 for any sprocket. Buy a couple different combos and see what works the best for u at your local MX track.
