BRAND NEW GRIZZ...WITH BAD OIL????

my dad was changing...the oil on our brand new grizzly...and after he drained it...it was a yellowish..thinging...??is this..from yamaha??or is there something wrong???with it??it's only got 7 miles...on it..it's only been out only once!

umm....I'm pretty...sure that...the oil...if....you change it after....only that long...it should be a....little on the dark...brown side....

Why would you change the oil after only 7 miles? I think that Yamalube is a synthetic oil, and it may very well be on the yellowish side, I don't know. I didn't change mine for the first time till after I had 100 miles on it. Then it was a dark brown. Ask the dealer if that is normal, the oil color that is. Changing the oil at only 7 miles clearly isn't.

we changed it because...we've had it for 4-5 months..know and..it's been sittin in the garage..for that long..and we alwayz start it up at least 4 times a week..to keep the motor..runninng because we've had problem starting the grizz...

one..........question............only............4 to 5.............months..........old........why not take.........the bike to............the dealership............if you have..........any problems starting it?

let me restate that...it's warmup time takes too long..so if you start.and press the throttle a little it dies on you.

00GrizzNkodiak, why do you break up your post with ... like that? Its pretty irritating to read. I mean, nobody likes missing periods , but excessive ones make for tough reading...

Probably some kind of synthetic. But if it had gotten water mixed in with the oil, it will turn cloudy, and milky-looking. That didn't sound like what you're describing, though.
