My buddy just called me and said that his machine has developed a strange habit.
Usually after several hours of riding the machine start to flutter when he gives it gas. it doesn't stall, but it won't take the gas. After he hits the throttle a few times it takes off.
He takes really good care of his machine and likes to keep everything running perfectly and he can't figure this one out.
Has anyone else had this problem?

 

I almost fogot, he also said that when it did this it said "REVERSE" on the screen.

 

was it actually in reverse? It kind of sounds like a short making the rev limiter kick in. Is it fuel injected like the raptor 700

 

Yea, it's FI. I posted this problem on a couple of sites and come to find out, that's exactly what it was.
