I have a 04 sportsman 500 that I bought new and I have finally worn out the tires. I am looking to buy some mud lite 27 inch tires. What im not sure about is if I can do this without a lift and how wide I can go. Im thinking 11 on the back and 9 on the front. I want to avoid buying new rims or spacers if I can. Will this work or am I going to have to shell out some more money. thanks

 

the only problem you might have is w/ the 9"front wide tires w/ the clearance between the strut or tie rod ends.

 

So do you think aftermaket rims will fix this? Or will I have to go with spacers?
