Default Help me with my 98 Warrior please

Well, this thing has been a pain, I flipped it down a hill back in August I think, and haven't rode it at all since October. I have rewired a lot of it, and when I turn my headlilghts on, one comes on regular, and the other is very very dim. If I switch their plug ins the n neither of them work. Please let me know what might be wrong, they both have new bulbs. Also, I have had to takew the wiring harness off of this thing about 10 times in the past week working on my keyswitch and gear indicator lights. I have figured everything else out by myself, and could probly fix this if ya gave me a few days(because it's cold out), but I would rather ask y'all, Thanks for any help on my headlights.

Make sure the dim headlight has a good ground, If there is a problem with the ground it will light up dim, You may want to try to run a seperate ground to that headlight and see if it fixes the issue

Well, ya know how the have those connectors for the wires? the ground on that one was two wires twisted together with tape wround them, but today I put connectors on it, I will run a separate ground and see if it works, but idk why the headlights aren't interchangeable. Thanks

The headlights are interchangeable. Sounds like you have an electrical nightmare! And to make it even worse the Warrior has a fairly sophisticated wiring harness compared to other sport bikes of it's time. Like Viper said, check the ground. The ground is just as important as the power wire.

http://www.sandwizards.com/Service_Manuals/warrior.pdf See pages 7-38 on. The diagram on page 7-41 shows a brown wire coming into the light switch as your power in. Then when you turn on the switch to low beam, the green wire sends power to the low beam lights and the blue wire sends power to the taillight. Then when you switch to hi beam, the yelllow wire sends power to the hi beam lights while the blue wire stays hot. I think you have some wires crossed. I would put my $1 bet that the brown wire is not being used as the incoming power wire.
