My buddy has an 2003 sportsman 700 that starts and runs fine from cold. When it gets hot, there are times it won't start back up, you have to let it sit a couple hours? Any suggestions? Thanks!!!

next time it wont start, unscrew the gas cap to see if any pressure is built up. check the vent lines to make sure there free and clear. that rules out locking uplike vapor lock. hows the compression, good and strong. whens the valves been done, maybe too tight. just a couple of idears.

what happens if u turn the choke on when it gets hot, if it starts back up, then ur running to lean, and it won't be the valves, being that they have hydraulic lifters
