HI At long last we are about to buy a honda trx 420 fm
the only doubt is I did want an automatic type but this seems a good option.
I have got a good deal
Any reviews on this quad please, it is for work(not play)

I think it makes a better play quad than a work quad. Honda kept things pretty sporty. The engine is a little over-square (bore/stroke), so it likes to rev to some extent. If you need grunt, it has to be done with the lower gears, and not by lugging the engine. I have had mine a year now, and no problems of any kind!

That said, there are lots of guys in here (even me occasionally) who use it for light work and plowing. If I needed a pure work quad though, I would get the Foreman 500.

 

Thank you very much , I am glad to be getting a Honda as was going for a Yamaha Grizzly 350 2/4wd but have now been convinced to go for a Honda.
As long as it will do some light work that will be good for me, but its interesting to know what users think as I have no experience of these quads(new to me)
