BOTH ARE GREAT QUADS GO WITH THE ONE YOU FEEL MOST COMFORTABLE ON. IF IT WERE ME ID GO WITH YFZ BUT I ALSO BLEED BLUE AS THIS IS WHY I CHOSE A 700R! P.S. IF YOU GIVE IT A YEAR THERE ARE RUMORS THAT THE YFZ WILL HAVE EFI AND SOME MAJOR UPDATES TO THE CHASSIS

Between the 2 it is almost a toss up on which color you like best. I will say that Yamaha has been more proactive in refining the product every year and has a better polished atv imho right now. Honda totally redid the motor after 2 years, but hasn't ever addressed a few of the chassis shortcomings. The Yamaha is probably a little better bet if you are only going to ever do the mods mentioned(might want to budget a little bit for a thumb throttle extender though.)

i always liked them 450r's, but i just never got one, i must have been at the wrong dealership. if it were my choice ide get one of them can-am ds 450's. my freinds got one and it will flat out haul. but really its all about comfort in this case, but that can-am really got my attention. you should see which one best fits you...
theres good and bad in all quads..

If you trail ride you can't go wrong with either one. If you live near the dunes and don't plan on doing a lot of mods go with the yfz. I say that because I just got back from the dunes and if it wasn't a very built 450r or built banshee, yfz killed everything.

yea ive narrowed them down to either the honda or the yfz i really dont like the others all that much. ive always had a honda and i dont know if its time for a change or to stick with them
