Default Replacement Brakes and Rotor's advice..:)

For my first post let me say I have been reading here for a while and thank everyone for there post's. I have my quad tore down replacing clutch's and exhaust, and while I am doing this I thought I might replace the brakes and rotor's. I have a 2001 polaris 500 sportsman 4x4. I was thinking about getting the EBC rotor's and sintered pad's. Right now the quad squeaks to high heaven when I am riding it and turning, without applying the brakes. The stock rotor's are grooved from use they are not real bad but if it were my car I would have them turned. The pad's are not bad but should be replaced. So what I am looking for are some suggestions on what types of rotor's or pad's if not EBC and if you think the EBC's are good or not.

Well with cars and trucks now most(rotors) are cheaper to replace than to turn down!!!!
I myself would not replace/ or turn down rotors and then use old pads!!!.........Caper..........

Casper,

Alway's planned on replacing both. Just wondering if there is a better brand than EBC. Don't see alot of info out there on brakes.

We switched to EBC Pads on our 97 SP500 because it has no EBS braking and they do last alot longer than the Polaris pads we tried. Never needed to change the rotors though.

I used the EBC sintered heavy duty ones on both our machines and far outlast the oem's. No input on the rotors

If you catch your Pads in time the rotors should be fine............But if the Rotors are "SHOT" Your need to replace both!!!......Caper...............
