Outlaw 525 + JDjetting Question?
#1
I just installed my JDjetting kit and the jet for the drain was optional. I was wondering how many that used this kit installed the drain jet? I was going to but didn't want to remove the extra parts to get to it if it doesn't make that big of difference in performance. I still have the tank removed so it would not be hard to open it back up and install it. Just thought I would ask before putting evrything back together.
Thanks in advanced for any help!

I tried the leak jet and absolutely hated the way it affected the bike. Made it almost unridable. Anytime you hit the throttle it would stall or flutter. So I went back to the stock plug jet with the big o-ring and adjusted the AP timing to .100".

I run the same as evasiveone. Some people have good luck with the leak jet, but most KTM's dont. My friend has an FCR 39 on a Z400 and his does way better with a leak jet. I think KTM's suck so much air they need that extra power in the Accel. pump spray. I would recommend setting the AP linkage to .100", seems to work good on these bikes.

Thanks for the info I will leave it the way it is then. I didn't remember anyone else saying they used it but I just wanted to make sure
