Red tube hanging by fan on foreman 06

Red tube hanging by fan on foreman 06
i was doing a walk around on my bike checking every thing and i looked by the fan and saw this red tube hanging by the motor head and the fan i pulled it out and the end is a bit melted and black, but i dont know what this tube is for or where it goes...please help thanks in advance
