I have a 2000 ds650 and i was wondering about this powertip($69.99) vs a slip on($150-350) ive heard that the ds650 pipe factory is verygood and its just limited through the two little holes on the tip and i heard that it makes a very good difference in power if you put the power tip on. I was wondering how a stock tip with this powertip on it compares to a slip on Im just goin for more power dont care about the sound thanks

 

I guess it depends on how much you wanna spend, with the slip-on it will let the engine breathe better. The tip does give the engine a huge boost, but not like a pipe will.

 

Some say the end caps will make just as much power as a slip on i don't know....But i guess it comes down to opion on this one.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

 

I had an ebay tip, and I just swaped it for a full pipe system. So far I haven't felt a whole lot of gain. It puts out a bit more power but the end cap is really nice for the price.

 

Yea i think if i do anything ill either get a used silencer or pipe kit or a new powertip if i get anything
