How can I fix bent plastics??

Default How can I fix bent plastics??

I have my rear plastics a little bent and as a result theres a big white line where the plastic was bent and stressed. is there any way i can repair this without replacing my plastics??

i had seen an article in Quad magazine that a heatgun could be used, is that true?

it will allow u to striaghten it back out, but the white line will still be there.

You can use a heat gun to reduce the stress mark... some stress marks will go away all together depending on how small they are...

Leave it with the mark, it's like a scar it adds character and, chicks dig scars. : )

Yeah, It proves you aint afraid to ride hard, and that you aint afarid to get back on and do it again!

I left mine cracked for a couple years until i took on some mud and it rested on my exhaust!

It'll happen. Fix one and you'll get two new ones. Just keep on ridin.

I used a heat gun and the white marks on my blue '06 just about disappeared[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]
